27 May From London With Love: Black, White, & Beige
When in Rome, do as the Roman’s do. When in London, dress as the Londoner’s do!
Michael and I snapped a few pictures while strolling through Kensington Palace Garden’s earlier in the week. It is such a beautiful place and I shamelessly tried to peek into Kensington Palace in hopes to catch a glimpse of everyone’s favorite royal family.
Bag: Zac Posen
Jewelry: Nalukai & Little Smith
TO CORPORATE-FY THIS LOOK: A pencil skirt and some sleek pumps can dress up almost any look.
It’s been an exhausting week–we’ve walked over 40 miles in the last five days! Michael and I joke that we walk everywhere just so we can burn off some of the calories we consume every day from eating such rich food (think fried fish, pâté, and lots of baguette…).
The other thing I find challenging while on vacation is figuring out what to wear. I’m a fan of traveling as light as possible so I’m fundamentally against checking multiple bags and transporting half my closet. That’s why this trip I packed so many items in a neutral palette (a tip I figured out from my days traveling every week as a consultant)–you don’t need to pack as many matching accessories and it’s easier to mix and match your items depending on how warm it is out. Plus, I find that Europeans tend to wear a lot of black, so having a bunch of items in black usually helps you blend into the crowd 🙂
Hope you’re having a great end to the week!
