Metallic Dress and Black Top [Plus: Roberto Durville Shoe Review]

If you know me at all, you know that I love shoes.  I always joke with my friends that I’m Carrie from Sex and the City–I can live with owning fabulous shoes but not much else, haha!

Anyway, Roberto Durville reached out to me to test out a pair of their shoes, and I happily said yes.  I have to say I am super impressed by the quality of the shoes, especially for the price (almost all are <$200 I believe).

The pair I’m wearing was made in Brazil and well crafted.  I wore them for about 8 hours last weekend and found them to be really comfortable, given the height of the heel.  The leather wasn’t stiff and I barely experienced any of the usual chaffing that happens when you’re trying to break in new heels.

The only minor gripe I have is that the leather laces kept on untying themselves (even though I double knotted them!) and the dye rubbed off a little on my ankles.  I do have another pair of lace up heels from Tory Burch and I have to say that I had the same thing happen with that pair, so maybe it’s just a downside to this particular shoe style.
